Our weekend class starts on Friday at 6:00
pm and ends at 9:30 pm (class room only). Saturday and
Sunday classes begin at 8:30 am and end at 5:30 pm. On
Saturday and Sunday, we are in the pool in the morning, break for
lunch, and then in the class room for the remainder of the
day. Week night classes are Mondays and Wednesdays for 3
weeks beginning at 6:30 pm and ending at 9:00 pm.
We offer weekend classes at least once a
month in the winter and every 2-3 weeks in the summer.
Weeknight classes are offered at least 5 times a year.
No. You will need to have mask, fins,
snorkel, and boots to take the class. If you buy them from
us, we guarantee the fit. We will provide BC, tanks,
regulator, wetsuit, weights, and weight belt for the class.
These items are rented to you for the training dives. Rental
for students is $115.00 for the training dive weekend.
The starting cost of the four items needed
for the class is about $170.00.
The classes are taught at Caribbean Dive
Shop and we use local University indoor heated pools for the pool
sessions.
Classes normally have 8 to 10
students. We usually have 2 instructors in the pool plus
additional Divemasters assisting. We have the highest
Instructor to Student ration in the area.
